BBQ and wrenching party in Redondo Beach Sat 23rd
#33
overall, there was 4 coil overs installed, steering rack bushing, a suspension adjustment. and a clutch job done. 24 cans of coke and a mess of burgers and spicy sausages. mmmm.... GREAT JOB Robert in cooking the grub.
BTW clutch=PITA. It's actually easier to remove/lift the engine than it is to drop the tranny. The clutch job took a day and a half. I am sore is places I didn't realize I had muscles. Sunday subie bro names brandon came over, (don't know his board name) I got a tranny adapter for my jack and we were able to work it in. After almost running it w/o fluid, it was up and rolling at 6:30 Pm. So 16 hours from start time.
Saucy, I have a part from your jack. Gimmie a call so we can find a place to meet.
Markapolis. Come by again and we can take a look at that exhaust issue that you had. Or we can take a whack at it on Friday.
Thanks for all who came
