TALMADGE – A Hoover High School student reported he was stabbed with a samurai sword yesterday during a fight outside the school in an alley near El Cajon Boulevard, San Diego Police said.
The boy, an 11th-grader, told police he was attacked about 2:50 p.m. by several young men who were carrying swords. They escaped in a Honda, he said.
The victim was treated by paramedics and taken to a Hillcrest hospital. His wound did not appear to be life-threatening, police said.
Officers were looking for a black Honda, which was lowered and had chrome rims and red brake pads. Witnesses gave several versions of the incident, police said.
