best uppipe for the money..

i was just wondering what the best uppipe is for the money... i was thinking of either going with a helix flex, or a invidia downpipe... either way if i go with either brand, i am going to get a downpipe from the same company.. and also whut size piping do each have for the uppipe??

I like the HKS UP-pipe. You can get them on ebay for around 130-150.

the hks one is ok until you start doing more mods because of its restrictions of the wastegate exhausts.

dont lowball it. theres not much price between a good and a "bad" uppipe. i used to do that and i ended up upgrading. better to do it once then twice.
just get the helix it has the flex so itll seal properly. and better fitment.
my 2c take it or not
=P

what does the up-pipe have to do with restricting flow out the wastegate?

for the original poster - I went with a USDM STi up-pipe (free! used my subarubucks) - fits perfectly.

well i was thinking more towards the helix flex.. only becuase i have heard of more people using their uppipes/downpipes and only good feedback from them.. so i think ill end up going with helix, and then get the downpipe as well.. thanx!

I did the same thing. You can't get any cheaper than free.
