Any way to swap out the stock boost guage ?
I was wondering if you can swap out the stock MPA guage for a guage that measures in PSI instead?
Has anyone ever don this or looked in to it?
thanks in advance

im sure you can do it, but you would have to find a very small boost gauge...most gauges are 52mm or 60 mm...the stock one is like 40mm(not an exact measurement, just an estimate)

Hey man did you find a replacement for the stock gauge yet?
Iam trying to find one also . I need a psi one so i can read it better, since now that I have a EBC.
thanks Dew-subaru

omori makes a 45mm boost gauge in psi and hks makes 46mm gauges but the boost reads in kpa/bar.
granted both are slightly bigger than stock, you should be able to fit them in with a bit of muscle since the housing is rubber
(referring to the column mounted boost gauge).

if you're going to go so far as to remove stock, why don't you take it apart and see if you can recalibrate the face so that psi numbers are legible?
the gauge itself will be exactly the same--the scale on which it is read will be different, and that's all.
