a lot of people run that setup on stock transmissions fine.

and we also have a handful of those who break their transmission on a all stock car.

the motor will be able to take it.

TBE=Turbo Back Exhaust. You will need an aftermarket TBE to run that setup and I was wondering if you already had one.

Here is the answer to your tranny question (very expensive) https://www.i-club.com/forums/showth...?threadid=3540.

there is no set max. reliability takes a sharp turn for the worse at around 300whp, from what i've seen, but you can certainly run a lot more than that. your margin of error simply becomes razor thin.

Or an RA 5-speed gearset...stronger, and better gear ratios.

You are correct, but gearsets are also prone to failure due to how the stock WRX tranny case flexes. I dont know this from personal experience but there is some info about it in the link I posted above.

Got Groceries? I just sent you a PM.
