How much boost can stock motor handle?

Is that all you are going to do to the car? Just more fuel and a bigger turbo? (you are thinking about replacing the turbo right?) Are you just trying to make your car faster?
I would say call any tuner, Vishnu, Cobb, Turbo XS and buy one of their "stage" kits to make more power... safely.
have a nice day.

HAHA no! I have the equivalent of a TXS STG.IV already. My setup includes:
IHI VF34 turbo
80mm Cusco catless DP
80mm Kakimoto GT1.0z exhaust
STi catless uppipe
Cusco header
Blitz SUS Intake
STi TMIC
STi Injectors
Mazda RX7 TT fuel pump
GFB pulleys
APEXi AVC-R
APEXi S-AFC
Blitz Platinum plugs (2 steps colder)
With my setup and high enough octane fuel, could my motor handle 1.35BAR?

Is that in the efficiency range of that turbo... It doesn't make any sence to run boost that is out of the efficiency range, but to kind of anwser your question people are running bigger turbos with that boost.

Seems like VF30's pump their best at 18psi:
From hotrod's flow FAQ.
I think there's a definite law of diminishing returns after that.
Guys are running 12.70-80's with Stage 4's + TMIC at this boost level...

Sorry dude, but we see it all the time from the noobs. "can I just put on a MBC and set it to 18psi?" or whatever.

Yes your engine can handle it but why stress the engine when 1.25 - 1.3 bars is the max efficiency. Sounds like someone is addicted to boost. God knows I am. Good luck at the track.
