Mitsubishi TD05's have been around for a LONG time!
All Lancer Evo's in Japan have had them since day 1! (TD05-16g's).
JDM WRX's ver. 1, 2, and 3 came with TD05's as well.
The TD05 signifies the design/family of the turbo and the "g" rating is kind of a measure of the airflow (bigger meaning more flow for the most part).
