anyone running this on their EJ20? i'm looking at this td05 big 16g, direct bolt on for like $600. looks like a pretty good deal, just wondering how the spool up is... if there's mad boost creep or anything.

 

as far as i know, spool-up is similar to that of a VF30/34, but the top end is a little better. a good thing about mitsu turbos is it's rebuildability and upgradeability. if you get tired of the 16G, you can upgrade the compressor to an 18G. the TD05 hotside is very flexible to that extent. in fact, i've heard of some people using the TD05 turbine for even a 20G.

 

do you have all other stuff like injectors, fuel pmp, and em yet? if not hit me up.

do yourself a favor if you send a pm to Uncle Scotty on NASIOC. He posts here sometimes, but you'll catch him on NASIOC most of the time. He's running a TD05-16 or 18, I think it's the 18 (or he was). He's actually from Oahu, but on the mainland now. He's a wealth of information, and as big a wise@$$ as I am. Don't ask him any n00b stuff.
