Upipe/Downpipe sound?

Upipe/Downpipe sound?
I am about to get a uppipe and probably the turbo xs stealth back w/race pipe. With no cats and running just the stock muffler will my car be much louder besides the turbo spool being more noticable. Also is it wise to get the cat with the turbo xs stealth back? and finally is the stealth back as good as saying buying a perrin downpipe and midpipe seperatly?
