Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

Question Vishnu Sub-Zero ECU

Any thoughts or opinions? Eventually my goal is to midly tune my WRX, this Sub Zero seems perfect for my plans, along with upgraded exhaust (turbo back eventually).

I've been down the never-ending wihirlwind of "not-fast-enough-YET" mods on my drag VW for 16 years now (and no still not fast enough in the 12.40's). The Suby I want to keep simple, but mod it subtly, mechanically and visually.

Overall, I am thinking the minor tweaks (ECU and exhaust), the European-spec 17" Subaru wheels and a pad upgrade. Possibly Prodrive springs.

thanks for your input,

San Leandro is not very far from Pleasanton. Call Vishnu and ask if you can test drive the Sub Zero ECU. This usually involves a credit card and I.D. Be sure to call first - they're always busy with dyno tuning. Bring along a ratchet, short extension, and either a 10 or 12mm socket (I forget which size the ECU retaining screws are).
