anyone have any negatives after vf34 from stock?
Hi everyone:
I have an 04 wrx wagon, 5mt, currently at cobb stage 2.
I am thinking of changing the stock turbo to a vf34 and ithe stock njectors to sti pinks . I have reviewed several dyno graphs of stock cars and vf34 cars and on paper at least the vf 34 swap seems better than stock in most respects...
so does anyone have any driveability drawbacks that they experienced after this swap?
Is your off-the-line torque decreased; ie is the car harder to accelerate from a stop smoothly?
any feedback appreciated.
Thanks!

hey, speaking of mileage what kind of difference would you say (in mpg)?
Any difference in idle smoothness?

You won't notice any city drivability problems, because you are not spooling then. I have a VF-34 and I can't tell the difference unless I am on it, then it just hauls ***
