I just got my car back from the body shop on friday. and yesturday for the first time ever( since I have had the car and since I got it back) it started to overheat.I was driving it around no problem drove it hard no problem. let my girlfriend drive it and it seemed like it was starting to overheat just about the time when the constant diving speed slowed down. So i let it cool off a little and drive home. no overheating. let the car idle for a while and no over heating. This morning I go to drive to work and run the car for about 10 minutes to let the AC get nice and cold and the engione temp is 3/4 of the way up. drove it it went down a little bit.then it went all the way up I turned the car off and ran the fans once it dropped i drove it back home pretty fast and the temp never rised again until i got in the drtive way and the car stopped moving, then I ran the fans aagain....any help would be great. I jus tdont understand the irratic temps...sorry for the long post.

 

Kinda sounds like the thermostat...have you checked that?

 

changed the thermostat today all is well.. the only thing is I think one of my fans is a little quirky. not sure if both are running. onedef wasnt running at one pont while I was fillling the coolant
