Make sure you have a boost gauge and a catless uppipe installed. Those are a must if your going to be raising the factory boost levels.

I didnt say anything about a catless exhaust. Only uppipe.

Raising the boost levels raises EGT's. High EGT's in your factory uppipe can cause the catalytic to fail and blow into the turbo. Not good.

Hey teiva-boy,

Do you have an intake on your WRX? If you say that it runs so rich from the factory, an intake that makes it run a little leaner shouldn't hurt anything right? I'm just looking for some closure on the eternal argument. I figured someone who had datalogged a stock WRX would have a pretty good idea.
