i am thinking about putting a boost controller on my wrx. it has a stock turbo, but i have an intake which makes the car run a little bit leaner than it normally would and i have a muffler(not exhaust, just muffler).

would it be ok to still but a manual boost controller on it, without changing the computer, as long as i only run around 16 psi? would it make my car run even leaner? and what negatives would there be?

no up pipe, but i do have a boost gauge. why is the catless exhaust and uppipe so important. i could see about the uppipe, but wouldn't the back force help keep the torque up?

 

hmmm, don't i have to replace a sensor with the down pipe so i don't get my engine light on? i do know someone selling a down pipe too, so maybe i will get it. thanks
