That is too much of a breakdown.

People just need to be clear when they ask and answer questions on the type of a SUBARU they drive.

I most definitely see the argument for not having a wagon specific forum. It is the same car.

On the other hand, the reason that the desire has arisen is because the wagon owners do seem to be a little bit of a different breed. I, as a wagon owner, get a small amount of pride from my car when it surprises people. It's no big deal to post on here that a WRX wagon can humiliate 13 second cars, but to the rest of the world it gets some mild surprise from folks.

Maybe it's no big deal, and I doubt there'd be any sort've 'new' type of traffic in there, but it would bring some new members, I'd imagine.

Just don't base an assessment off of how much traffic this site gets.

I don't ban people here, so don't flatter yourself.

And yes, with 4 posts that you have I really value your opinion, especially since your first opinion with post #3 was to publically bash the forum you came to.

Bye now.
Good Comment Alex, You take care of things nicely, and in a funny way lol

Stop with the caps lock, if you'd bother to read the forum rules you'd know that's highly discouraged.

You have 9 whopping posts in 3 months since your first 4, which were in this forum on this topic. Either you've setup a dummy account to protect your "real" sign on, or you simply aren't participating. If the latter is the case, you have no reason to be calling for changes to the forums.

Now, one more time, here is why there is not now and will not be a wagon forum here: When you want to find info on your wagon state that in your question or include "wagon" in your search. In case you haven't noticed, the tech forums here are broken down by category, i.e. NA engine, suspension, engine management, etc. NOT by model or sub model.

Personally, I'm for adding a wagon forum... here are my reasons. Like someone said before, there are many minor differences in the wagons that can drive one crazy when looking for parts. I've considered giving up on modding my OBS because its so hard to sort out the info as to what is compatible and what is not. If you own a wagon, you know what I'm talking about, if you don't own one, you won't really.
For example, currently I'm loking for struts, and I've been told that any impreza strut will fit on an OBS (probably by someone who doesn't own a wagon). At the same time, tirerack tells me that the rears are different. I already bought springs... am I screwed if I didn't get wagon-specific ones? And whenever I post wagon-specific questions, I get very limited responses (I think they are valid Q's, but people just don't know/care about the wagon)...
So, to bring together wagon gurus/enthusiasts and consolidate and centralize all of the information and questions by creating a wagon forum would be beneficial for i-club and mankind

.... my speech is over
