I could see the point of a wagons only thread, but wagon forums would be a duplication since the wagons (wrx especially) are very similar to the sedan (except for the fact that they don't look nearly as cool )

Say's who..I did'nt even consider a sedan when i looked into getting a WRX. The WRX is probally the best looking wagon out there besides 95' Volvo T5-R wagon.
I would also say they are similar to some extent...if one is into bodykits then what, try to find a front lip for a wagon or even a rear lip for the wagon. Us wagon guy's need other members that share the same 5dr. platform for ideas or resources.

Long live the "Wagon Clique". We all know how difficut it is for the sedan owners to justify thier inadequcies. I would imagine there will be a lot of opposition to a space of our own. Although I just met an STi owner the other day, who is going to sell his car because he wishes he had bought a wagon. I believe this to be true in many cases "de'nile isn't just a river in Egypt". Eventually everyone will realize the power of the FIVE DOORS OF FURY!!!!

wagon thread
I agree, when I bought my subie I didn't even look into the sedans. If I wanted a sedan, I would have bought an STI. Honestly the expense, when you're buying a new car, is not that significant between and standard wrx and an sti sedan. I wish that Subie would import STI wagons. Start a wagon thread, we need one!

YES! YES! YES!
Thatd be awesome if there was an official wagon thread! I didnt take but a glance over at the sedan version when I was looking to buy because my friend bought a wrx sedan before I bought my wagon and there is absolutely NO trunk space in those things, and since I drive up to snow bound Tahoe frequently with family and friends, the wagon was the right choice for me. And boy am I glad I did! No regrets here! And on top of that, everyone around here owns a sedan, and the wagon definately sets me apart from the others. Make an official thread please!!!

I recently traded my 02 sedan for an 05 wagon, and I'm loving every minute of it.
I can see where there would be resistance for this idea because they are the same in many respects. But there are a few areas where wagon-specific parts are necessary, particularly suspension and body parts, and it would be nice to have a place to ask wagon-specific questions, and find wagon-specific answers. I say it would be a nice addition.
