the only other forum that has daily threads is CV and they have it because they really are SRIC but they *****ed and moaned until SRIC let the secede and have their own cute little 10 person forum
I've never understood the point of the good morning sign in.

FYI, your closer to SRIC than some of the CV people. that would be retarded to have the CV and reno people in the same area as we are no where near being close. now sac and cv could be the same forum, without reno, would make more sense, but still, its to large an area. why do we give a u know what for things that are happening 4-5 hours away? i know i'm in stockton so it's close to me, but i'm speaking for some of the other people in the CV
and who is the moderators on this forum anyways? really the past week i've started making accounts on other subaru specific sites cause thread moving is ridiculous. either let it all slide, or be ****'s and have no one like this forum, there are two choices. lol

I know we have said this before so I'm sure most of you will know what I will say. In order for this site to survive it needs activity. Having activity in one section is great but it kills any hopes of having new people come in. I think it's important to maintain what is in BAIC but at the same time I have to look out for the rest of the site as well. There has to be a balance. If there is a thread that is related to the BAIC and was moved, the simple thing is to report the post and state why the thread should stay. Otherwise we have to maintain a theme of total site activity. In the end we are all here trying to make "i-Club" a better place for all and keep it going.

I still don't understand why someone would move threads that have been in BAIC for so long. If you are going to move them fine, but if it's been overlooked for more than a month, I think you should let it be.

I'm not disagreeing with you, but what I am trying to do is to show you why we are moving items. We aren't moving threads to be jerks or just **** people off. If that was our plan then we would start deleting. We are all members of a community. We all care what happens here. We want this place to be around for a while so we are trying different options to see if it helps. The mod that moved those older threads was probably thinking along those terms. If it was BAIC specific then I agree that it should stay there. I think the bottom line is we need to deal with specifics and not generalize. If there is a specific thread that should stay in BAIC then please let the staff know and state the reason why. In the end we are all part of the same community and should figure out a comprise to make sure we are all happy.
