Resonant engineering 10 + box
I need to get rid of my subwoofer to pay for other stuff.
Its a Resonant Engineering SE 10"
Specs are as follows -
Fs 28.2 Hz, Re 2.8DVC, Qms 5.17, Qes 0.43, Qts 0.4, Sd cm2 310, Vas 30L, Xmax 1way linear 18mm, BL 18.1, SPL 1w/1m 83.7, RMS 600W, Max 1000W
Look at www.RESPL.com for more info.
In short this is a bad ****. Its right below JL W7 territory, but miles above stuff like alpine type R's, audiobahn, standard JL audio W6, mtx 8000 series, rockford HX2's, etc. I have it hooked up in a larger ported box (1.5 cu ft) right now and it easily outdid both of my IDQ 12's at 400watts . It WILL work in ALOT smaller space (.65 cu ft sealed).
Don't even think about a shoddy prefab (flea-market box). This sub will tear it apart. Although its capable of huge excursions, this sub is also a nice SQ sub. It blends in pretty well, is quick, and plays LOW.
I've used it for about a month and 1/2. It's perfect and I still have the packaging for it. Its still under warranty (yes I got it from an authorized dealer!) Those of you who know me know I take care of my stuff too. No scratches, tears, dents , etc.
I'm asking $150 for it w/ current ported box (covered to match trunk)(this is built VERY well)(http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2001-1/3809/DSC01042.JPG). The box is tuned at 38hz with a low q (wide frequency response) If you want something a little more show, I also have a complete install with sealed box that I can throw in for free (http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-...VXNZTM-sub.jpg), amp not included. This was built for the Alpine but box specs are similar and it looks great. If you'd like something more custom (or even smaller) shoot me an idea and I could likely build it for you at a VERY reasonable price. You just pay extra shipping, of course. E-mail me if intersted or for pics.
