Question on buy and sell.
hi all, iam new to this club and have a few questions regarding buying and selling on the classifieds forums.
1) i live in Canada, will most of the sellers or vendors ship it up north?
2) which method of payment is recommended?? or safe??
3) is it a pain in the butt for u guys/me to purchase goods across the borders?? anything i need to know?
P.S. i have some rare goods sellin local in Toronto, if u wanna check it out. visit www.toronto-subaru-club.com (great site, great ppl) and look under classifieds for the post by Lam.

Hi, Phil. You posted this in the "For Sale by Members" forum. Had it been posted in the Vendors forum, some of them might reply directly to your question. Then again, maybe not (there are a lot of vendors).
1) Each vendor has different ways of doing business. Some might have no problem at all shipping to you in Canada or even overseas. Others might rely almost exclusively on UPS for 'lower 48-state' shipping (cheapest). My orders were shipped by either UPS or USPS and both have proven to work well in my local delivery area. You will likely have to ask each vendor that you seek to conduct business with.
2) I've used both my credit card and PayPal. For PayPal, you will have to go to paypal.com and first establish an account to be able to conduct transactions online. Both have worked out just fine. I also exercise caution when dealing with vendors or individuals who are new to these boards. It's the same sort of caution you would use for any online purchases, I suppose.
Welcome to i-Club, by the way, Phil.
Saw your other post in General but didn't get around to posting a 'welcome'.
