2.5 DOHC heads. Perfect condition. My engine builder has looked at them and said as much. I no longer want to do a DOHC motor. Make me an offer or trade me for SOHC heads.

what kind of SOHC heads are you looking for what year and model engine are the ones you want from? are you willing to make a fair trade or do you want some boot too? how much money in addition to trade?

 

The SOHC heads do not need to be anything special. They just need to be from a modern 2.5 engine. Legacy or Forester will work too, as well as an Impreza pair.

I was intending on making an even trade, but your question brings an interesting point... I would like to recieve a pair of ready to run heads in respectable condition. I don't want a pair that have rusty cams and need a valve job

I am not sure what you mean? I do not know the designation number for the heads (if there is one).

THey have ~28,000 miles, were from a Legacy rear/side hit. All DOHC heads are exactly the same from 2.5 liter DOHC engines, Impreza, Legacy ect, Subaru didn't develop a new engine for the Impreza RS when it was first introduced, they just used the engine that they already had.

All of the 2.5 liter SOHC heads are the same as well, so if you have something to trade, and they are from a 2.5 liter engine, they are what I want.
