These are some personal items of mine. I was hoarding some stuff to do an engine build and decided I have been putting it off just way too long and it's time to sell everything and come to terms with the fact that I'm not going to do this build for a while . I'll buy what I need again if I ever decide to do a built engine for the Legacy.

So............. OBO

STI engine block: SOLD!!! Just the bare EJ257 block, nothing in it. Used, bought if off another member like a year ago and just put it on a shelf for later use. I was going to sleeve it for a built engine but I've decided to stick with the current WRX engine in the Legacy because I don't have the time or extra cash right now to do it anyway. I'd probably suggest boring it slightly over to one of the standard over-sized forged piston sizes since it's used. Subaru charges ~ $820 for a new bare block! Make an offer!... I did a quick search but didn't find any bare blocks sold recently so I'm really not sure what a fair asking price is.

WRX cylinder heads: SOLD!!! Stock heads, great condition just need a cleaning, from EJ205. Perfect for a core to P&P so there's no down time on your car, or to assemble onto a longblock to swap into your car!... maybe even with the block above . Bare except for valves, valve springs, & retainers/seats... $375 shipped, $325 local, OBO.




JDM EJ20H cylinder heads: From a twin turbo Legacy. Supposed to have larger ports than USDM WRX. I'll have to look again, they've been in a box for a while. They are high compression heads with smaller volume combustion chambers vs. the USDM turbo cylinder heads... very interesting and cool! I couldn't decide whether to use these or the USDM WRX ones. Approximate compression with normal WRX pistons would be ~ 9:1, which is great if you have decent octane fuel (93+) -- much quicker turbo spool, higher torque numbers, etc... I have almost everything for these heads; full valvetrain, valve covers, etc. I believe the cam gears are the only thing missing. These can allegedly safely rev to as high as 8000 rpm. $475 shipped, $425 local, OBO.

Pic 2: One of the heads. I never cleaned these since taking them off of the engine block. They're oily and dirty and there's head gasket stuck to it still. They just need to go through a parts washer and the head gasket crap will just scrape off. Sorry for not cleaning them up....



Pic 3: Better picture from a real camera. You can see the unique combustion chambers. Those parts on the top, bottom, and sides where it extends in between the valves is what raises the combustion ratio and would theoretically be beneficial for a more complete burn by pushing the air/fuel mixture towards the center and towards the spark.

Pauter 4340 Chromoly Connecting Rods: BRAND NEW. The strongest rods you can buy for a Subaru (and not have to mortgage your house )!!! $650 shipped Priority, $640 local! Normally $700 + shipping.




Helix Injectors: Both 660 cc Top Feed for the WRX and 860 cc Side Feed for the STI, both brand new and sealed. Make sure you know what application is right for you! All EJ20 WRX use top feed and the '06-'07 WRX do to. Most turbo 2.5's like STI, FXT, LGT use side feed but I'm not 100% sure about '06+ FXT so make sure to check!

when you say that the '03 heads are empty, do you mean that there's no valve train or cams? sorry if this sound stupid, but i'm just making sure.

Yeah, no valves, cams, etc. I'll double check to see what's there. I know there are some parts but I haven't opened the box for a while ;-). I'd rather they were just assumed to be bare heads, clean and in perfectly good condition.
