Which is a huge decrease but over 50 years not 10 and mostly due to the white flight of the 1950's.

Looks like one of your roid raged players almost got killed tonight...

Jiri Fischer dropped behind the bench and was given CPR before being taken to the hospital via ambulance. It is unclear if he just dropped or if he was hit by an inadvertant stick while sitting on the bench.

He has had heart issues in the past but nobody is saying for sure what dropped the fool...

Edit:
He had a seizure and is at a Detroit hospital...

He's hardly roid raged.....He is a big **** on skates tho...

He was legally dead for 12 minutes. They had to shock his heart back into service with a AED and performed CPR for a while. It was very disturbing to see that happening believe me. Maybe think a little before you open your mouth.

Why would I ever do that?

Now get back to your vacant and burned out buildings and have a nice day.
Bunch of effing pansies could not finish the game because a player had a seizure. That is gayer than a bag of dicks - just like Detroit...

The league has ruined hockey. There used to be a time where they would scrape the blood off of the ice and continue the game, but that was back when men were men.

Do they stop a war because a soldier goes down? Nope you do your job because you are a man anf fight for your side.

I am willing to bet Fischer knew something was wrong with him and he decided not to get the medical help he needed because then he would not get the big paycheck. They should have let im die, puch the body aside and play finish the game.

like your sig says, Fishcer should have been killed and eaten because he is weak.

This is yet another black eye for the sport of hockey.

It has nothing to do with scraping blood off the ice. it wasn't a cut above his eye that required stitches or something trivial like that. He was legally dead for 12 minutes you moron! The only thing that saved him was the AED's that are on hand everywhere now. 15 years ago that 25 year old kid would have died.

LOL that is comical, you didn't just compare war and a game people play for money, did you? Who are you Kellen Winslow?

Way to display your stupidity, you obviously have no understanding of the game of hockey. Every year before training camp players are put through an exhaustive battery of physical tests for just about everything imaginable and he like everyone else on a professional sports team he was cleared to play.

No people like you should be exterminated from the gene pool because you lack any form of intelligence. Where is Darwin when you need him?

Well then they should have let him die doing his job when he could play hockey. He is finished and will probably be found sitting in a chair with his thoughts behind him in the near future.

The only thing that saved him was the AED's that are on hand everywhere now. 15 years ago that 25 year old kid would have died.
Darwin gets cheated yet again!

Nope, I compared it to war/battle and so does the NHL if you watch their commercials. He played because he wants the paycheck even though he probably knew something was wrong with him. I admire him for that, but when you take a chance like that you get what you get. Because he was selfish and played when he should not have he not only cheated both teams out of a great battle but all the fans out of a great expreience. He owes the league and the fans an appology for being selfish.

Ah yes, and no team is will ing to make the test results say what they want them to in order to have the player on the ice. #88 comes to mind - and just so you dont have to go look it up I am talking about Eric Lindros and his 8+(?) concussions.

Oh no, he is gone. Looks like he has just as much to offer as the city of Detroit - NOTHING!

FIrst he said that Jiri was dead for 14 minutes but then he edited his original post and made a new one that stated 12 minutes. I would like to know where that tech comes from, even the "Detroit News Online" does not mention that.

Imagine that, the ghetto city of detroit has internet access. I did not even know they could afford computers there based on all the pictures I have seen of the city...

Pure speculation on your part. You really have no idea but you pull this stuff out of your *** to make a point. Good debating skills tho!

Actually what I edited in the original post was me calling you a complete moron because I wasn't sure at the time but I see now it was justified.

His heart had stopped for 12 minutes while they worked on him. Heard it on sports radio this morning. Do they have sports radio there since you really don't have any professional sports teams? Just wondering?

What's funny is you talk like you have some understanding of how the players and fans felt last night when everyone of them that have spoken about the incident - Nashville and Detroit alike felt that postponing the game was the best solution. Anybody with a 6th grade intellect can understand that. I guess that explains why you don't understand it. Anyways I am done with you. You have shown you have no clue what you are talking about when it comes to Hockey, maybe you will get to learn a little if you ever get a team over there.

Oh and call me when you win a basketball championship too!

I do not subscribe to a religion that allows or at least used to allow multiple wifes...

And everything on the radio is true? I have not heard that nor have I been able to find that in print. And even so, just because your heart stops beating on its own does not = dead.

Nope, what is this radio you type of?

Thanks to the pussification of america. That is also why awards are given for second place and parents tell their kids that it is OK to lose the game.
Anybody with a 6th grade intellect can understand that.
If I paid to see a game, I want to see a game. Football players are hauled off on stretchers from injuries directly related to the game and the teams play on. Hell back in 1989 when Clint Malarchuk has his neck/jugular cut by a skate blade they scraped the blood off of the ice and finished the game. Like I said before, when men were men...

Nobody here cares about basketball. We can not wait for the McGoofs to move the team to Vegas...
