I guarantee I could go to any large city and show everyone abandoned buildings and other stuff that would make that city look bad. Have any of you actually been to Detroit in the last 5 years? It really is alot nicer in the downtown area than it ever has been. There are areas that suck for sure, but Downtown I feel safe walking around at all hours of the night. The funny thing is the Pistons aren't even located in Detroit. They are about 30 miles outside of Detroit in Auburn Hills. But bashing Detroit is the hip thing to do, right?

Either way though as a sports town the metro Detroit area is one of the best in the nation year after year.

Oh and BTW...My city can beat up your city!
