Who has ****ty neighbors?
Ive been living in this duplex for about a year in a half. Honestly no major problems, if there are any problems it can normally be taken care of without much trouble.
Well about a month ago the house across the street went into foreclosure and some new ppl swooped in late one night. Right from the get go they seemed, well rediculous. Its a guy in his late 40's im guessing and either his gf or wife. She is maybe mid 30's and UGLY
.
What irritated me at first was i saw (on dudes big Chevy truck) that he has a has a handicap license plate. Yet he still puts in/removes lawnmowers, wheel barrels and such out of the back of his truck. Seems to have no problem using a push mowing on his lawn every week as well. So that didnt sit right with me.
But they are the LOUDEST people EVER! Yesterday morning and this morning they have had a garage sale, the ****tiest ones ive ever seen btw, and are like yelling at each other. They arnt yelling as in being upset or mad, like thats just how they talk. Im sitting in my front room, tv on at a pretty decent volume and I can clearly hear every word they are saying from across the street..
I wanna go in the backyard and yell out for dude to just STFU
oh and neither one knows how to drive a clutch. Instead of 50/50 gas/clutch... its more like gas 90/clutch 10 hahahaa (just had to throw that in there lol)
So im hoping they dont last long

dude i'm sorry, i know what it's like to have neighbors who just bring the neighborhood down...
that way i tell my wife is this: "hey, if we're the loudest people in the block/complex, then we've got it good!"
sorry you've it the other way around; i've had that a few times that way too, and good luck!
p.s. if you like to know some good passive aggressive ways to get back at your neighbors, let me know...

so im playing COD:WAW in the front room now... started hearing something and it got louder and louder.. im like wtf is that the game. Then i realized what it was. The dude is sitting in his front lawn BLASTING Imagine by John Lennon.... theres no reason i should be able to clearly hear a song from across the street, inside my house, over a video game.....

my neighbors play mariachi music at a way higher level than their stereo can handle so the speakers are all farty and clippy to the beat of mariachi horns. Sometimes they get drunk and pass out with the cd on repeat so it lasts all night. I want them to die.

I live next door to a house owned by a who is gay and rents out to gay tenants. The owner is a older guy in his 50s and is real cool and quiet. But his tenants are like the that guy "Jack" from Will&Grace. They always give me dirty looks, give me beef about my dog, park in front of my house on purpose. He swears I'm a gaybasher or something which I'm not. I even told him " Dude I have no problem with you being gay, but your just a ****ing douche"
Luckily my neighbor on the other side of me is pretty ****ing awesome.

I know there are laws against loud music/noice ext after 10pm and before 7am i think it is.... but is there anything besides disturbing the peace he could be nailed for?
It really was ****ing retarded loud. My gf came out from the back room and was like "what the hell is that noise?"
I decided to take the pocket bike out and rev it a few times and just ride up and down the street like 3 times and he didnt seem to like that very much

Write him a letter (you can write it anonymously, or have people in the neighborhood sign it) and inform him that it's an issue. If he disregards that then take it a step further and file a formal complaint for noise pollution.
The people living above me have the most obnoxious kids. It's a house that was split into a 1 bedroom apartment, and two studios, we all share a common entrance hall though. They come in the entrance hall talking and yelling, which drives my dog (who is quieter than they) nuts. They run around and continue to yell and scream while upstairs, so I hear footsteps pounding all over the place on top of the vocal work
I grew up in the country for the most part (or at least not right in town) and we didn't really ever lock the front door, and I still don't lock my studio door all the time, but I ALWAYS make sure the front door is locked because other people live here too, and my laid back security habits shouldn't be forced upon them. However, these little kids obviously don't have their own set of keys, so they either unlock the door or leave it open when they go down to the beach/play in the street... Thats cool, whatever, but when they come back they don't lock the door again, and sometimes they don't even close it! I would complain if I wasn't here for only 23 more days.
