Yup. Your airbags wont work because the sensors from your stock seats arent connected. Use a resistor and your airbag system thinks someone is always sitting there.

with a harness, isn't the air bag not working a good thing?

why else would they make these?

EDIT: honestly, I have no idea if removing the airbag is needed with a harness
