VF-34 Package Question

Wondering if anyone could give me some advice on the Gruppe-S VF-34 Package (VF-34, STI 565 injectors, Walbro fuel pump), as to the price and quality vs. other turbos out there (DB TD-0516G for example) Currently, I'm putting down around 200 whp on an '04 WRX wagon, with the following power mods:

Helix Up-pipe
Helix Catted Downpipe
Borla "Hush"
K&N Drop-In Filter
Lightweight Pulley
Perrin Intercooler Hoses
Ecutek Reflash

I've been autocrossing, which I enjoy. Also, I just completed one track day at Thunderhill weekend before last, and will plan on doing that a few times a year. However, I'd like to improve the power without going absolutely crazy on the budget or with the car. Perhaps quicker spooling would help with auto-x, but some additional power would be nice for the street and track. Reliability and not busting up the WRX's other internals are also important. Thanks in advance for any comments and suggestions.

the vf34 won't really spool faster than the stock turbo. it won't drop off on the top end though.

The td05 16g from deadbolt is a better choice but you can always have your vf 34 port and polished and ceramic coated. I've heard great things about both but I bought the vf 34 because of the price. Both turbos are a good upgrades and as long as you are semi-conservative with the boost levels you should be alright on your stock motor. Just be careful with first to second gear shifts. From what I've read second is usually the gear that everyone breaks. You should look into getting RA gears. These should help with faster acceleration. Good luck
