uppipe question.

Have any of you guys done this? I keep reading people saying it is a HUGE PITA. Am I just better off taking to s2 and having them install it?

Is that a vote for "take it to the shop"?

Remember, though, Ed has a hard time strapping the Velcro straps on his Keds.

If you take your Dp out the uppipe install is really easy. You dont have to jack the engine up that way. I did mine in about 2 hours give or take. I just used ramps and a creeper.

Although having SS do it would save you alot of hassel, blood, sweat and beer. Plus their install charge is very reasonable.

It's not that hard, it took me under 3 hours with a jack and stands, running out from under the car a million times to get the right tools. And a trip to kragen to pick up an 02 sensor wrench. It's really not that bad. Nothing a saturday afternoon and a couple beers couldn't handle. The longest time to kill is waitin for the liquid wrench to soak in. You don't have to jack the engine either, you just unbolt the pass. side and push it up an inch or so... just enough room to wiggle the stock uppipe out.
