Dude. We had a $1200 bar bill on the ship and we spent at least $200 more drinking off ship. Alcohol wasn't workin (though I enjoyed it) .

Eh, yes and no. You get on a crowded ship, you've got limited space to move, you go through choppy waters, everything is shaking all over the place. It was ok.

Instead, I think next summer we'll be going to Mexico and staying at a resort in San Jose Del Cabo where we'll lay on the private beach looking out at the Pacific, sitting at the pool bar, etc . That, is relaxing.

Notice I said a "nice" ocean cruise. I can't imagine what a bad one is like.

That is actually a stop on the cruises we are looking at. I'm looking at the southern carribean cruises which leave from San Juan mainly and they stop at st. thomas, st marteen, aruba, and curacao
