So, wow, my Govt. instructor is worthless. She announced this morning in class that because we are running a little ahead of schedule, she's probably going to cancel class next Thursday (our final class meeting before finals). I said "instead of cancelling class, lets make it productive time and do some kind of study session for the final.", to which she replied "No, I think I'm going to cancel class, I'd rather go Christmas shopping" . Of course the rest of the class (mostly Freshman) cheered "Yeah we don't want to be here either AM I RITE GUIZE?!?!?!". *** ****s.

I wish I could call my boss and say "wellllll, I'd love to come to work today, I mean, I know the project I'm on requires completion today, but you know, I didn't finish up all my Christmas shopping so I'm not gonna make it today". I'm tempted to write a letter to the dean. Her grading scheme is bull**** (check plus, check or check minus, whatever that **** means), she doesn't keep a running tally of the grades so it's impossible for you to check your progress, and now this - cancels class instead of having a study session at the request of a student.

Good news is with all thoe *******s in class it should be CAKE for you to get a "check plus" esp. if she grades on a curve

Maybe a few years ago I'd cheer too and maybe still would if I was 100% confident with myself and my studies that I would pass the final easily. But if I'm paying god knows how much damn money for education I want my money's worth! That is a BS grading system and its very 1st grade

If you do, make sure you stop over in Aruba. My wife and I loved that island when we went on our honeymoon two years back. I want to retire there someday.

So I take it Dramamine won't do the trick?
