So... RE71Rs and RS3s aren't R-comps...

RS3s are known to require heat to work. This is why I dislike them.

RE71Rs are very similar to the ZIISS which is known to be good cold and decent in the wet. I'm not surprised to hear that the RE71R is pretty good in the wet.

But yeah, if you had true R-comps that aren't wet rated, you'd be hydroplaning everywhere.

Just putting some knowledge out there. Extreme Summer, whatever, is still a street tire.

You called a street tire an R-comp. I corrected you.

I told you what the known characteristics were for those tires and they matched up with your experience.

What is being debated?

We tried. There wasn't enough room in the Miata.

If we could just make this happen to people we knew we'd resolve a lot of things.

Still at home waiting for the electricians to finish unscrambling the mess of wires under the stove. Apparently, whoever wired up the garbage disposal and some other electrical wire decided it would be best to just splice into the power cord to the oven. Um yea, i'm sure there is no fire risk there. Pointed it out in person to the owner and manager and finally they took action. The electrician originally came out on Dec.30th but realize it was a mess for sure and needed to get further approval.
They came today for what I thought would be possibly a 2 hour job. We're up to 4 hours at this point and they are still going strong. Good thing working remote is an option.

In more positive news, company got me a Surface Pro 4 which should be arriving at the office today.

I need a new carry-around. The battery on my Asus T100 ate it. I was using the wrong changer for a while and I think I fried it.
