I ordered continental contiextreme contact tires from les schwab on saturday. They just called me to tell me that continental wont be making these tires till january and are on backorder. wtf. They offered toyo tires at a lower price. I don't know anything about toyo proxes 4 tires. Anyone work at a tire store that sells continental tires?

Saturday i called John from a ok tires and they had a set of continental conti extreme tires that they could get from a warehouse. Two hours after that call I had four new tires. Alot better grip over cr_p factory tires. Stiffer sidewall, more aggressive tread pattern and also has a lower profile. Less schwab just lost a sale. I think that they did not check on the continental tires and just wanted me to go with tires that they had. Tires that i did not want and cost total $100.00 dollars more.

just out of curiosity, why did you get continentals? There are other tires out there for around the same price that are probably better.

I did alot of research, ratings and got recommendations. With all the curvy road driving i did today i have no complaints. Excellent grip.
