government regulations on gas prices is NOT the way to go. that goes against the very fabric of a capitalist society. would you want the government to say that you as an IT guy make as much as the janitor?

no im not saying it should be socialist... The only way people can live without gas is if we all lived within walking/biking distance from work... it's not gunna happen, so we HAVE to have gas... they could charge 15 bucks a gallon and we would still have to pay it and there is nothing we can do about it since we all gotta get paid... it woudl be like the food industry deciding that no food is going to cost under 500 bucks a piece... we would either have to pay it, die, or steal it...
