not really... because supply and demand is you cut back your supplies so there is a bigger demand....so you can raise your prices... they didn't cut back supplies, this is more called "****ing over an oil dependent country"

I always thought the price was directly related to the season though...more people drive in the Spring/Summer/holidays, therefore, prices go up during those times.
