Stupid Question of the Day

I'm looking at getting a used STI hood scoop, painted in Java Black to match the car, that has a few light scratches on the clearcoat that, I'm told, you can't see until you're on top of the scoop. Can those be easily buffed out? Any advice appreciated. Thanks!

No, not local. But a fellow SRIC'er. You're right, I can always get a repaint if needed. Thanks guy!

if it has some light scratches then it should buff out just fine.. no need for a repaint!! just use some rubbing compound on the whole thing, and then start the buffing process!! it will take time but the end result will be crazy nice!!

Cool. I went ahead and bought the hood scoop and splitter, since the guy seems to be a good guy. Thanks for the advice!

doggies have sweat glands on the fleshy part of their noses. It's like a FMIC for a dog.

Actually, it is more like a nitrous spray system used to prevent a front mount intercooler from heat soaking.
