ISP's there. Everyone knows AIM is so much easier than MSN IM.

Hmm...maybe it's because I hadn't really used it before, but I had a little trouble with AIM. Doesn't MSN have more features built-in (I don't have the two in front of me to compare at the moment)?

dunno. I use trillian for IMing. Can't stand like 4 open windows just to chat with people.

<---300 baud dial up to The Well.
Then 900 on AOL 2.0 (PC Geos/DOS and Win versions)
I seem to remember something about higher rates if you used a 14,400bps MoDem.
God this brings back some hardware memories. Hmmm. jumper settings. IRQs, Base addresses. floppy controller cards with extra buffers, upgrading UARTs to 16450 then 16550 OMG that was a bunch of wasted money at Fry's. You'll never beleive this but ISA PC cards used to have full size resistors on them. Really it's true.

Back to the SRIC chat discussion long since derailed.

I used to have trillian, but I mainly used AIm so I just switched back to AIM. Trillian is great though if u use more than 1 IM.

My dad had one and I had a 386. Even added a math co-processer. haha

Anyone remember the 'turbo' button that used to come on 486's?

Sometimes I'd turn it off. I was afraid I was overworking my bytes.

I remember when I used to start my comp and it would could the KB's of memory. And at school my nerd friends would talk about having less than half a gig, on their comp, and I would say "What? I have like 15,000 gigs." They were like no way, you're lying. They don't even make comps that big. I had no idea what they were talking about.

Duh, that's why you need a turbo timer
