Unfortunately, it's got the S52 engine which is a turd compared to the S54 that came out in 2001.
Plus, I don't care for the color.

I found a 99 M coupe local. Same color, but more miles (76K). Asking $18K.
Blue book for the 99's is $15K in excellent condition. I may go look at the one here in Sac. The one on ebay is too much $$$ and located in Florida.
Damn. That almost makes me want to pick one up too.
BTW, my roommate picked up an '01 last year. In the gunmetal color, with about 8k miles on the ODO.
He paid ~$30k for it.

Actually, Blue Book is $20K adjusted for that low mileage. Did it have a ton of aftermarket upgrades? The one is Sac was sold. I guess I'll just keep looking
No mods that I know of. The thing was basically brand new.
At the time, I could swear he didn't get that fleeced. Price was around blue book, NADA and Edmunds. I wonder if there was a massive drop this year due to the new M Coupe coming out.

anything with an "M" on it is funky in regards to used value... my neighbor back into my brothers E30 m3's drivers door. estimates were about $2.5k to replace and color match (paint is pretty beat anyway). progressive mentioned something about if the cost was much higher they might have to declare it a totalled car.
who the hell considers a e30 totalled with only $2500 in damage? you'd be hard pressed to find a clean one under $10k, if you could even find one for sale.

I like the power specs on the new one, but at $46K for an 06 it's a bit much.
