i went to Maita to pick up some parts, and the sales guy who showed me where to go asked me why i hadn't traded my car in already. i asked him what was wrong with it, and why should i trade it in. he just said, "well isn't it about time you traded it in and got something newer?" (mine's a '95, so yeah it's getting old, but it looks great still).
and this was all after i asked him where the parts department was, i hate ******* sales pushes like that.

I recommend Gold Rush in Auburn. I bought 06 Forester X there. It is a very good deal and nice purchasing experience. They have the best test drive route compared to other places.
I also went to autowest and maita.
Autowest is good too. The salesperson is knowledgeable about the product, patient and professional. But the price is not as good as Gold Rush.
I hate Maita, the floor sales person is not well-trained and knows litte about Subaru. Even worse, one of senior guys played game with me on price. I don't feel they are honest. He is very intimidating while claiming not to be so, which is quite ridiculous.
Now, I put 950 miles on my forester. My question is whether I should do the first oil/filter change or not. It seems to be a very contravertial question.
Another question, where do you guys recommend to do service?
