so i got my first ticket in 2 years...need help

I got a VC 23109(c) Exhibition of Speed on my ticket... cop got me from power inn / elsie.

"You queeked your tires for a couple of seconds and sped off at 65mph on a 35mph."

Is this a street race ticket or what? I did not get the car impounded but only one citation... I don't know what to do. I searched it up and there was soo many and that is why im confused. 23109 has a couple different meanings: street race, exhibition of speed. I do know it is 2 point.

I know i can go to court and try to fight but i don't want to upset the officer or the judge.

My point...
1) while driving the oppisite way after the ticket, i found out that it was a 45mph road.
2) AWD.

Im afraid that it is a street racing ticket whereas she should of towed away my car and arrest me... She did say a car was next to me and I was speeding which counts as racing... by the way, the car was a corolla that was next to me. If it were to be a street contest ticket, shouldn't it say "Street contest" on the line instead of "Exhibition of speed"?

Exibition of speed means you accelerated too fast. Doesn't matter what the speed limit is, if you get there too fast (who knows how that's judged), you're screwed.

Did he include speeding on your ticket? I'm confused. If so, you probably will not get out of it, but will have your fine reduced.

If he's not citing you for speeding, you can fight that and ask how he metered your speed.

I got one for 65 in a 35 school zone with children present. I just had to go to court and pay like $330. And then a reckless driving, but that was not as fun.

My buddy went to court about one like this but actually racing and they dropped the fine and reduced it to one point. You have nothing to lose. FIGHT iT!

written declaration ftw!!!! most of the time they wont even reply and even if you lose you can go to court for a re-trial. i just won my last ticket for going 60 in a 35 on a country road with no speed limit signs

snaps for once i agree with ya.

if you do the crime, you got to do the time.

How many times have you sped without being caught? Think of it as them winning one.
