Talking Sister finally bought a Scoobie...

well, I guess it's a Subaru.
It's an Atlantic Blue '05 Baja mit Turbo & 5MT.
I like it much better than the 2 tone versions.
:Plug: She got it From Eric at Autowest. Excellent service! :Plug:

Haha Eric. If I'm not careful, I'll be the last one in Sac that hasn't purchased a car through you.

Oaf- I'm not a huge fan of the baja, but I love that color. Not a bad choice at all though

The Baja is definitely a "Love it or Hate it" vehicle.
IMHO the 2 tone is fugly; looks too Detroit to me.
L'il sister let me drive it, and while it ain't no STi, it's not supposed to be.
I didn't get a picture of the engine, but it looks alot like the STi engine, with some obvious differences: small I/C(smaller than WRX), turbo & plumbing, manifold, etc.
While the suspension is a little soft, it's not gushy.
The "pick up" bed comes in handy when she transports her two crazy Hell Hounds.
Has plenty of power, in fact more than the WRX (I believe).
But watch out, if these items fit she'll be getting my STi I/C & exhaust.

Yeah, who'll be laughing when she lights up a WRX in that thing. Congrats. I kind of wanted one but none of the dealers at the time had a turbo baja, heck they didn't have a baja at all.
