Yeah, you need the wilwood pad shape. I think what he may have been trying to tell you is that Wilwood may be the only source of those pads. However, they are not expensive and liek I said, they have some really good compounds. The problem is that the calipers suck so bad it's still not worth the low cost and awesome pads.

I've run those brakes. Call Stoptech, and tell them what you have, then can supply pads for the caliper. Tim hooked me up with some Hawk HPS+ pads, it's a super-common size.
And, good luck with not feeling spongy. They flex, and they flex a lot. Put your foot down and hold it there and they do the job ok, you just need a more aggressive pad becuase you have to rely on friction instead of clamping force. Double-pumping the first time you get on the brakes durung a drive helps too.

I said it above, but pads are indeed available from many different manufacturers. Do your brakes say Wilwood or Perrin on them? Are they a dark purple (anodized black), and rounded, or do they look like a hard-edged billet piece?

um, yeah, Roo, go with the OEM 4-pots idea. And let me know where you get them, I've been dodging getting my brakes done for about 6 months now. Figure when I do get them done may was well upgrade while at it.

I do have stainless steel lines on the fronts. I'd like to get rid of these calipers and get something else. I'm reading up on the jdm/06+ wrx 4pots and seeing how well those work. I want something that has agressive stopping charactersitics.

That's the upgrade Ryball went with. He says they are super awesome at stopping the car, but sadly, they don't help his rear wiper work.

Aaron - Mine are similar. They're darker. I'll take some pictures later on to show you. I doubt I could even sell my calipers really..probably for like $100 lol
NY - I'm needing to replace my brakes sometime soon in the next few months (I have maybe 30-40% left) but I don't wanna pay 500$ for them. I also want the rear 2 pots. My only thing is that I want the black version calipers to keep a stealth appearance since I don't like the flashy red riceyish look to them.

If they look similar, they're just less faded. Both Wilwood setups are Perrin kits, but mine was an early set; the billet-looking ones were a reengineering to try to fix some of the problems with not much luck.
Pads should be incredibly easy to find, you need pads for Wilwood Billet Dynalite 4-pots. I think I have a schematic somewhere with the dimensions to forward to stoptech, but they gave it to me in the first place, so you should be OK. Pads are cheap.....

I'm looking into these and seeing what is needed to swap them out. I'm trying to decide if I really need rear 2 pistons or not. Right now I'm running the stock rear calipers. I'm sure I'd have to replace the backing plate or something to use FHI 2pots in the rear.
