DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i had a blast since this was my first time out and i didnt know how to launch for sh1take (pronounced sh-i-ta-kee, do not mistake for shi-take) mushrooms but DAMN!!!!!!!!!

my best time was a freakin 14.8. i threw away the slip but basically:

60' - 2.1 (yeah i have to work on the launch, i bogged on every single one, stupid tire deflated to 25 psi)

ET - 14.8

MPH - 95

well i have a down and up pipe ordered so ill probably be out there next week. lets use this as a heads up for next week.

NEXT WEDNESDAY SAC RACEWAY!!!

i forgot to mention there were a lot of subies out there tonight and the fastest one i believe was 14.6.

my friend ran a 13.7 but that was 1 legged and no traction. i saw a fire red cobra but didnt see what it ran.

and when i was at the dealership a while back i was in the parts department talking to the service desk guy when he brought up the subject about some kid blowing his motor at the raceway. besically his mom gave a 15, or something in that range, thousand dollar down payment on that car and he was to be doing half of the monthly payments. so anyways what happened was he went to the raceway after the motor had ate up some oil from the break in and he was just not paying attention to his temp or any different noises from the motor. he tried to have subaru replace it under warranty but they found the sac raceway slips in his car and basically told him, its either you come pick your car up from the parking lot or pay the $8000 for the repairs. guess who payed for the repairs. his freakin mom. i saw it sitting in there work bay. 04 WRB STi.

the service guy also told me that his best time out of those slips was a 14.0.

looks like i have everything going good except for my launches. im blaming the 25 psi of air in them. not enough.

yah 25psi isnt enough.. i herd in the clubwrx forums.. that youll spin your tires better if you put about 40psi, thus run marginally better times.. i dont know if thats true or not, i havnt tried it.. my tires were at 34-36psi when i made those runs.. so who knows..
