Cingular.

Great coverage. So-so customer service.

I am using the Samsung P-777, great phone. I hate flipe phones, so the slider is cool. However this phone seriously lacks. It has no blue tooth. If that doesn't bother you then, it is great. It has an Mp3 player, and a 1.3MP camera, which works quite well.

yeah...I dropped my p-777 in a puddle the other day while getting my wheels from Cashis....it was a nasty murky puddle....I could see it down in the bottom of the puddle because it was glowing weird colors from the water getting into it. :-P It works fine, but the screen has a little moisture in it now....I am considering using my insurance to get a new phone, but I am not sure what crap phone they would stick me with, now that phone isn't being sold. :-/

That's the great thing about GSM. Buy the phone anywhere (as long as it's not carrier locked) and plop in your SIM.

I'm beginning to think you're right, Alan. That, and no one lives/works up near where Deede and I are going to be living. Arg.

I thought you were going to be slightly south of Sac. Northern CA is pretty well covered by your major service providers.

Nope. And Beale is a black hole for everyone but Sprint and Nextel, apparently.

Verizon FTW. I had cingular and it sucked ***. I couldn't get reception in my own house. With Verizon, I've got full bars out on the edges of Elk Grove, up in the way back hills of Milpitas, out in Ione, out to Jackson, up in Tahoe. Everyfrikenwhere.

I have the Moto E815.

Car Info: Dying is not an option. It's an upgrade.
I had Sprint at Beale for a few months in 2001. It sucked *** then I went back to AT&T service and I could receive calls literally anywhere on Beale. No problems anywhere on the flightline. I got reception in the stairwell going to the command post. Things may have changed now for Sprint out there.
