Swear to God. Kids just don't get it!
Kid: "Why did I lose points for this (pointing to a calculation that I told them not to for the write-up)?
Me: "That wasn't in the instructions to do."
K: (staring at me almost looking like he wants to swing) "But, it's right, right? That's ****ed up I lose points for something that's not wrong."
Me: "But it is wrong--I told you to not do it."
K: "My calculation isn't wrong, though!"
Me: "True, the calculation isn't wrong. You doing it when you were told not ti is wrong."
K: (blank stare, then walks away) "Man, **** physics."
