The church did NOT support the U.S.' going to war with Iraq. In fact I believe the pope almost condemned it or something.
IMO: I think it's quite funny how many grammatical and factual mistakes there are in all these posts. And how one can get a good idea of the poster's political party based on the post's content.

^ You, sir, are correct. But like I said before, "The Church" doesn't speak for everybody.
Also most people don't understand that a church isn't a place to gather and speak of politics and government. It's a place to go where you can worship your God.

Actually, the pope speaks for the Catholic church. And while Catholics are Christians, they are not all the Christians. Many protestant Christian churches did and do support everything Bush does because of his 'mandate' from some guy they call 'god'. Some even went as far as to chastise anyone who voted for Kerry.
It's funny to me that you equate good reasoning with good grammar. And how you're the one who made the most innacurate post while condemning inacurate posts. And, most importantly, how one can get a good idea of anyone's political party based on the person's religion. Which is bogus.
But I can promise you that you have no idea what my political party is. I'll help you out...it doesn't exist. If you thought I was a democrat because I'm pro-choice...well, you're wrong. Independant because both parties are full of hypocritical, selfish idiots.
