Oh, the two cats don't have free reign. I let them out in the morning and bring them in at night.

you sure about that? my older brother found a lizard in his backyard that he adopted as his own outdoor pet lol.. and he lives in the same area as all of us

Actually, what cats do is they leave the head of what they caught by the door for their owner. It's like a prize thing. My cats are outside 24/7 and we get mise/mole heads on our backdoor mat alllll the time. So even though they're out only during the day. They will develop this habbit. So do keep an eye out...
