Arizona seeing a 9 second street car wasn't uncommon... There was a twin turboed Camaro(has been on the cover of every single hot rod mag ever... yellow 69 camaro) use to cruise with us every weekend, he did 8.90's...
There was this Convertable Eclipse on 19" rims slammed... If you looked at it you would say "Man it looks cool but WTF?? 19's!!??!? and then laugh", Well as some of you know... The Convertable didn't come in GSX... he did a fully built AWD system swap, with a fully built motor and a HUGEEEE turbo, this car is by far to this DAY the fastest car I have ever seen on the street... he raced my friends 12 second SRT-4 from a 40mph and literally instantly pulled 10 bus lengths on him by the end of whatever gear he was in...
