I am not sure if this was the 80/Reed or 80/West El Camino crash though. All I know is that I was stuck in some serious traffic and when I got off the freeway to stop at Starbucks since I was already late for work I saw the wrecks on parade pulling in to the same center. The funny thing is that I grabbed my camera and walked over to take pix and everyone - including the police officers moved out of the way when I pointed the camera at the cars.

I felt not unlike Moses with my ability to part the Red Sea of trailer trash and the CHP's finest with the wave of a camera lens. After I snapped a few shots one of the senior officers realized that he had no idea who he was and he pulled me aside and made me stop taking pictures.

They were on public property when I took the pictures. I was asked to stop by the CHP and did because they could have made me really late for work if they had wanted. But when it comes down to it, there is not a damn thing they can do about me taking pictures like that.
