Here is the deal, my buddy wants to rent my car to go to Oregon and
I want to put a speed limiter in it so he cannot do more than 70mph. I dont have a tactrix cable to do it , or really know how yet. anybody have a openport I can rent so he can use my car to go compete in the national beard competition in Bend OR. He is has blown the motor in my car before so I want some insurance against it, figure the limiter would suffice. The car is stock right now 2002 wrx wagon

 

wait he blew your motor before and your willing to let him drive/rent the car and risk that again? i would just tell him to go rent from enterprise or something. if he gets into an accident and he doesnt have any car insurance then thats going to be all on you.

 

If you have to put a limiter in a car to keep a "friend" from abusing it, find new friends. No way I'd be giving someone a car to go that far, through passes, etc.

I'd never let someone like that take my car for such a drive.
But if you MUST, shoot me a pm: you can decide rev limiter, boost limiter, speed limiter, etc
