yes, and I'm sure 100% of mustang drivers drive it due to history and "performance" rather than the fact that every other person has them and therefore they must be cool. mustangs aren't a popularity contest car or anything

And I laugh at you thinking the mustang is the reason gm is bringing the camaro back... because look how AWESOME ford is doing financially.... they are dropping faster then paris hiltons panties, i'd say britney spears but she doesn't wear any... How big of a loan did Ford just have to take out to try to save face? while GM is starting to climb back up and never let toyota pass them and is still the #1 auto manufacturer in the world tieing toyota in #1 in quality, and I can garuntee gets #1 in quality next year...

I got talking with a buddy that works at a ford dealer that had one purchased and the guy brought it back for work because it was so slow for what it was supposed to be. They got checking and found that the electronic throttle was out of calibration and because this guy bought so much from them (mostly diesle trucks for his biz) they retuned it to be more responsive than stock. I was told it was a night and day difference. Apparently the throttle is set up to keep idiots from killing themselves and has a horrible delay on it. I've heard this complaint from a lot of people who own electronic throttle vehicles. Why don't they make better driving rules or encorage real driving lessens instead. Or it could be just a pile he fed me. But i agree the car needs a bad diet.

Then you go look at the 2007 GM's and see how insanely nice they are compared to the 06's....
then when you go into google... and type "Toyota's Quality"
you get numerous reports like this...

toyota is trying to mass produce to pass up GM in the #1 automaker, and guess what their build quality and reliability are hurting because of this...
So again, I fail to see why you are rolling in the isles laughing....

J.D. Power ranks vehicles for INITIAL quality. There ratings don't say a damn thing about longevity or reliability.
I already said that the '07 GM's (their pickups) are much improved and that I finally like what they have done with them, especially the interior.
I'm not sure what a "platnium" award is. Is that the British equivalent of platinum just like they say "aluminium"?
You also said that I apparently stated that I was rolling in the "isles". I can only assume from your use of "platnium" that you meant the British Isles. If you're going to quote somebody or restate something someone previously said, the least you can do is learn how to copy the correct spelling. I hope that your judgment of quality is at least rated "platnium", unlike your spelling.

i thought we where talking about quality, not personal attacks... But when the company you tried to compare GM against doesn't even show as a blip, I would result in personal attacks as well...
To continue to make you look like a stupid... Here is another report about how GM and Toyota Dominated the charts while ford... wait who's ford?
Corporate giants General Motors and Toyota took the lion's share of the various awards in the latest Initial Quality Study, produced by survey experts J.D. Power and Associates.
Indeed, GM and Toyota, the world's two largest carmakers according to sales volume, have taken the top spot in 15 of the 18 categories covered by this latest study.

GM leads the most vehicle segments in Strategic Vision's Total Quality Index, measuring the ownership experience.
General Motors topped all other automakers in the number of vehicles receiving the highest score in their category, according to the 2006 Total Quality Index (TQI) Awards from automotive consulting firm Strategic Vision.
