if you are going to be starting at a normal time (say... 730-930am) avoid living in the south area. coming across downtown i a ***** in the morning. roseville, FO, and carmichael would be the nicest areas in easy commuting distance. followed by orangevale, natomas and downtown.

Folsom, Elk Grove, and other outer areas may not look very far but would be a ****ty commute

**Edit**
i live in natomas and is pretty nice aside from the wana be gangsters. im up on the north side just below Elkhorn blvd. and from my house to the airbase is about 10-15 minutes even in traffic

If you're going FROM downtown to Watt the traffic isn't too bad. It seems to always suck on Cap City Frwy but 5N -> 80E would be easy-peasy. I would suspect 80 between Roseville to Watt would suck, but there are probably a bunch of back roads or side streets to get you there.

ok. I am considering Heather Ridge (Orangevale), Rollingwood Green (Orangevale), Rollingwood Commons (Fair Oaks), and Cobble Oaks (Fair Oaks). They all look nice, affordable, and have garage parking.

Thanks again for all the help. I owe you guys a drink or two.

Awesome! Thanks. It will be nice after the 2,176 mile drive.

I will be stopping by for more than that. I have done all the work to the car on my own, but I won't have my tools in Sac. and I still have parts that never got installed from my last trip in the states. (as stated, I travel a lot and most is overseas).

I will need an install for:

Group N transmission mount
GT Spec rear diff brace
GMS radiator
GMS coolant hoses
Venair ancillary hoses

Thanks again.

I'm still a novice. I only have two weeks of boarding under my belt, and that was in Dec '08 when I was in Salt Lake City. I had a great time, though, and can't wait to strap back in.
