so all equipment orders go through business services. When they recieve a shipment they put a red number, a white number, and then WRITE the order number on the part... Well one of the monitors broke, so I call it in for warranty. Guy comes out and goes "we can't replace that since it is written on"... so that means every monitor in this building doesn't have a warranty

Most of us CHOOSE to change every 3k to make our cars last. You can go well past 3k if you use synthetic but anyone that changes oil frequently knows that after 3k it usually start getting thinned out & dirty.
I routinely go 5,000 miles between oil changes (unless there is a few auto-xes under the belt).

Car Info: This aint a bag. It's a shipment.
Even the scoob lists an interval of 3750. (that's more than 3000 in case you can't count).
It's the same as all of the reports that say you don't need high octane gas. Yes your car will run. It might not run as advertised though. In the case of the oil most manufacturers list 2 service schedules. Normal and Severe. Each defines severe different but they all push you towards the severe and will try to say that your warrantee is voided becasue you didn't follow it.
